Release or Transfer of Equity
A transfer of equity is required if you wish to add or remove someone from the legal title to a property, but one of the original owners remain.
Before agreeing to proceed with a Transfer of Equity we would always advise that you speak with an accountant or tax specialist in relation to any mortgages on the property and any potential stamp duty or capital gains tax considerations.
Changing mortgages to increase your borrowing or improve the terms of your borrowing is a relatively straightforward process, but it does involve making sure that the financial aspects are properly explained and that the title to your home is secure.

Purchasing a property at auction can be very exciting and you can potentially find a real bargain. However not all auction sales are for unique, high quality properties.
